Transfer Terms and Eligibility Timeline

2016 CLASS & BEYOND

Academic qualification to play Division I Sports

* Graduate from High School

* Complete 16 core courses, 10 by 7th semester

* 7 of 10 core courses in English, Math or Science

* Earn a minimum 2.3 GPA in core courses to be

eligible to compete in your first year of college.

* Earn a combined SAT/ACT  score that matches

your core course GPA on the sliding scale.

POST-GRADUATE

  • Potential Student-Athletes who have need 24 transferable college credits in order to become eligible for participation in college athletics.
  • Potential Athletes with less than 2.0 CORE GPA.
  • Transferring College Students with 1 year or less in College Credits.

Post Graduate and Prep Student-Athletes are able to take up to 9 college credits at a preferred accredited two year college and not lose eligibility. If you are a potential athlete and fall into either of the last two above categories, you must be enrolled in a accredited high school program.
